Bromelain is a natural blend of active proteolytic enzymes obtained from pineapple fruit and stems (Ananas cosmosus). Due to its biological activity, bromelain has a number of applications in regulating the body's work.
Papain is an enzyme from the protease group found naturally in papaya fruit and leaves, its structure is similar to pepsin, which is essential in the digestion of proteins.
The combination of Bromelain & Papain is aimed at enhancing the activity and optimiing the effects of each other, including the downregulation of inflammatory processes.
