Description

Folic acid (vitamine B9) belongs to the B group of vitamins and is absorbed into the blood from the small intestine. Its name comes from the word "folium" (leaf). As the name suggests, its sources include leafy vegetables such as spinach, cabbage, lettuce, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and broccoli.

Folic acid is needed by every cell in our body from conception to old age.

Functions of folic acid in the human body:
- it prevents neural tube defects in the foetus
- it prevents anaemia in pregnancy
- it contributes to the synthesis of amino acids
- it affects the proper production of red blood cells
- it contributes to the breakdown of homocysteine
- it improves the functioning of the immune system
- it reduces tiredness and weariness

Composition

Ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, capsule (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), folic acid.

Packaging: 60 capsules.
Suitable for vegans.
The product does not contain: sugar, preservatives, synthetic additives, gluten, lactose, soy, GMO.

Dosage

Dietary supplement in the form of capsules containing:
1 capsule: folic acid – 500 µg (250% NRV*). *Nutrient reference value.

Recommended daily dose: 1 capsule a day. Take before meals.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
