Vitamin A includes a group of compounds known as retinol and its derivatives such as retinal, retinoic acid, and retinyl esters. Some carotenoids, referred to as provitamin A, also exhibit biological activity of vitamin A. In the human body, the most common forms are retinol and retinyl esters. The retinyl form used in this product is the primary storage form of this vitamin in the body. It has high chemical stability and is effectively converted into the active form after consumption.
